These days we are all really busy and sadly our news feed has become a little sterile. It made me think about saying something James, Duncan and I always talk about, so this post is about gratitude for our team and the business we have all made together!
I have been looking back over the news since we first opened our doors a good year and a half ago, it is amazing to see how far we have come from the Bourke street days. We were full of hope and fear but that drove us all to work harder and make Limehouse something special.
I guess to begin with it was the three of us and times were tough we barely knew anyone, we missed our families and we were starting a business. The road that led us to where we are now has by no means been easy and at times it would have been easy to just give up but among us we all leant on one another through moments of hardship.
It makes you realise that nothing matters unless you have people you love to do it with. When Tom joined us we took a leap of faith and now we could not picture Limehouse without him making us laugh and giving so much of himself. Tom truly is a valued friend, staff member and so much more. We took another leap of faith in bringing on Witt who has also been a great find: full of personality, flamboyance and a hunger to learn and we are so fond of him.
This post is for our team to let them know that they have made this company a great place to work everyday and without them all of this would not be possible!
